Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of PagePod — the website, apps, and related services provided by Fil.Technology. By using PagePod, you agree to them.
1. The service
PagePod is a reading & listening tool that helps you save articles and re-presents them in a clean reading view, with AI-assisted summaries, narration, chunks, questions and translation, plus optional sharing. PagePod is provided by Fil.Technology (“we”, “us”). We're currently in private beta and features may change, pause, or be removed.
2. Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use PagePod. If you create an account, you're responsible for activity that happens under it and for keeping your credentials secure.
3. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse PagePod. In particular, you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- use PagePod to mass-scrape, redistribute, or republish third-party content beyond personal use;
- attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- upload or share unlawful, harmful, or abusive content through PagePod's sharing features.
4. Content & intellectual property
Articles you read through PagePod are created and owned by their original publishers and authors. PagePod reformats publicly accessible content to help you read and understand it for your personal, non-commercial use; it does not transfer ownership of that content to you or to us, and you should respect the source's copyright and terms. The PagePod name, app, design, and software are owned by Fil.Technology. If you believe content available through PagePod infringes your rights, contact us and we'll respond promptly.
5. Sharing
When you create a share link, card, or public feed, you're responsible for the content you choose to share and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove shared content that violates these terms.
6. Disclaimers
PagePod is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI-generated summaries, answers, chunks and translations can be incomplete or inaccurate — always verify against the original source before relying on them. We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fil.Technology will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of PagePod.
8. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the service over time; we'll post the revised terms here. We may suspend or end access to PagePod, and you may stop using it at any time.
9. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Fil.Technology's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these terms? Email fil@fil.technology or use our contact form.
